and other processes in the aquarium, minerals are consumed and must therefore
be supplemented regularly. These include, in particular, the necessary elements
calcium, magnesium and strontium, as well as alkalinity for the growth of
calcium carbonate skeletons in stony corals, lime red algae and other reef
organisms. Tropic Marin All for Reef contains
all of these components in a highly concentrated form. In addition, all
essential trace elements are also included: Iodine, bromine and fluorine for
the growth and strengthening of skeletons in gorgonian corals, sponges and
crabs; selenium for eliminating free radicals, and iron, manganese, zinc,
copper, nickel, chromium, cobalt, molybdenum and vanadium for the development
of important enzyme complexes.
